There is currently no penalty for player death other than a 15 second respawn delay
Experience: Experience points earned in battle vary depending on the level of the monster and the level of the player. Monsters which are two levels or more than the player's level have a display name in red; monsters which are very low Tera Gold in level when compared to the player have a display name in green.
Experience gained from slaying monsters outside of a player's level is modified based on the level difference.
Players may attack monsters at any time, and, once attacked, monsters will counterattack and follow the player until either the player leaves the monster's radius of sight or one of the two combatants dies.
There is currently no penalty for player death other than a 15 second respawn delay. Thus, a player can die without losing any experience or items.
Because of their nature as a purely ranged class, Magicians usually have a relatively low value to their health stat, but due to a skill that boosts health permanently they have a decent amount of defense.
They may choose between Staffs, which offer a higher block rate, or Wands, which offer greater magical offensive ability, and are the best class at Power leveling because they have AoE (Area of Effect) attacks which kill multiple opponents at once.
